These unique creations are made by our craftsman Soumaila in Burkina Faso, a passionate cabinetmaker. he is committed to enhancing and preserving the natural heritage of his country. He identified more than 33 species of rare precious woods. With his wife, they decide to value the wood without cutting down a single tree. They have set themselves the task of saving, recovering and giving a second life to naturally dried wood. They furrow the bush in search of dry trees to transform them into works of art. Thanks to the extremely dry Sahelian climate, dead trees do not rot and their wood is directly exploitable. With exceptional know-how, they reveal the beauty of wood and its eternal spirit. This passion they decided to pass on to young artisans whom they train in the skill of cabinetmaker. They do not stop there, they are also committed to reforesting the region while raising awareness among the local population about deforestation through the establishment of a tree nursery.
