We take you on a trip to the islands with these purses of great elegance made with chuchu leather, a vegetable also known as chayote or christophine. Made according to an unique and artisanal process on the beautiful island of Réunion.

Our artisan partner

This partnership is the result of a wonderful encounter with Alexandra who crossed our path during our visit to this beautiful island of Réunion.  She creates the first range of eco vegetable leather with coffee filters.  It was while peeling the chuchu to cook the traditional Reunionese gratin that she has the idea of making vegetable leather.  She applied the same process to transform the skin of the Chuchu and its lianas very resistant fibers into a new vegetable material. She uses only damaged and overripe chuchus. She then imaginates and creates a range of jewelry.  We fell in love and want to share it with you.
