Niger, the poorest country in the world, the craftsmen are in danger with the stop of tourism and a very weakened economy, the local know-how tends to disappear. Some craftsmen try to survive. The products offered are made from recycled materials such as leather, cardboard, etc. or from natural materials. The Amadal cooperative, which aims to help nomadic populations fight against poverty by sculpting talcum stone, the Niamey Arts and Crafts Cooperative, or Adamou, a craftsman who works for the education of deaf children.
