Our social enterprise partner

This product is a creation of our social enterprise partner in India.  Gauri, the founder provides income opportunities to women without a formal education who are from marginalised populations in her natal area, by understanding and leveraging their existing craft skills, to make sustainable products that are made from waste & salvaged materials locally generated in their region. They use mainly ropes made from clean, unused and waste from packaging units and fabric waste from textile units. She brings back old forms of weaving and furniture styles that originated in pre-partition India, almost 5000 years ago, using contemporary designs.
