Our partner

Our partner, a Foundation works for the revival of rural architecture, textiles and old know-how endangered in southern India. They work to empower women in rural villages to reinvent these skills in partnership with design schools. In the past, making kottans was the pastime of village women and these were traditionally used as gifts at weddings or traditional festivals. With the arrival of plastic, this craft disappeared, the foundation is bringing it back to life while offering income opportunities to very poor rural women population.
