Just like our sculptures, no whale shark has the same distinctive spots, this one is made with recycled dark blue flip flops found on the Kenyan coast.

This creation was made by our partner in Kenya, a social enterprise that turns flip flops washed up by the sea into inspiring art. A sector that impacts more than 1,000 people and which has created a hundred jobs among the most vulnerable. Through this activity are 750,000 flip flops that are recycled each year. 10-15% of profits are earmarked to clean beaches and oceans. Discover their story in pictures.
